The World Malayalee Council (WMC) is to hold its seventh Global Conference in Doha in July 2010.
The decision was taken unanimously at a meeting organized by WMC Qatar province at Ramada Plaza in the presence of Global Chairman Mr. Soman Baby. The meeting was presided by province chairman Mr. Varghese Chacko.
The meeting elected top businessman Adv. C.K. Menon as the Chairman of the Global conference organizing committee. Dr. Mohan Thomas, Mr. Sam Kuruvilla and Mrs. Annie Varghese were elected Vice Chair Persons. Mr. Mansoor Moideen is the general convener. Mr. Biju John was elected as Secretary and Mr. V.J. Jacob as Treasurer.
Global ethics committee member A.S. Jose and WMC Middle East Region Treasurer Mr. Razak Moozhikkal also spoke.

A 15 – member executive council was also elected.
WMC’s sixth global conference was held in Singapore in August this year.
